IE Downgrade

I am sick and tired of Internet Explorer crashing on me and loading slowly, so I wish to downgrade to IE6. I tried to go to add and remove programs, i uninstalled it, and when i rebooted the computer IE7 was still there. HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

First of all you have Windows XP SP3 installed and this may be why you still have IE7 installed. SP3 is in R Candidate still and has not been released to finsl.

If you are having extreme trouble, you can also contact Microsoft directly for help. Microsoft has created a Web page that is solely devoted to help and support for IE 7. There are some common FAQs on this page, along with a contact phone number for support. All of this information can be found

try this

click start => run and copy and paste the below command into run:

%windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe

press Ok

I accidentally typed in SP3. I have SP2 and when I go to add and remove programs, IE7 is not there. I tried going to %windir%\ie7\spuninst\spuninst.exe, but it doesnt exist. HEEEEEELPPPPPPPPP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Click Start => Run and type in IExplore press enter, what version of IE opens?
