[SOLVED] IE Extremely Long Load Time
Having a problem that just started today. Internet Explorer -- in fact any new window using the Internet -- now takes an extremely long time to load, as much as 2 minutes.
I'm using XP. Outlook e-mail works fine and does not have the long load time. This is just occurring with Internet Explorer. Eventually, my homepage will load (I've even tried changing homepages, and the long load time still occurs). Also, once I'm in Internet Explorer -- after about two minutes -- when I attempt to open another IE window, the same thing happens -- again, a load time for the contents of the new window of about 2 minutes. This is a new problem that only began occurring this morning. I can't really identify or think of anything I did differently that might cause this new aggravation. Would anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance. Googerg |
