IE 7 problem opening pages
I own a website called http://www.earthtonescd.com/ which is CURRENTLY hosted by Register.com. Since upgrading to Internet Explorer 7 I am unable to open any items on the "store" page here: http://www.earthtonescd.com/cgi-bin/online/storepro.php
Register.com said it may be a security problem although I get a lot of people letting me know they have the same problem and anything I've tried does not work yet. Just like the "add link" button on this post a thread page, when clicked on - nothing happens. I do have Mozilla on this same computer and the pages open up just fine using that browser. This is not only frustrating but very expensive. Could anyone shine at least some light on this problem for this newbie? |

Re: IE 7 problem opening pages
Thanks GTP I'll likely give that a try tonight if the ATF download looks secure enough. Although, I'm hoping to get this problem resolved for other shoppers as well. Hopefully it's something easy enough that I can inform the potential customer of, so that they can easily follow the same process and place an order. - Thanks again.

Re: IE 7 problem opening pages
Thanks again GTP. Although when I went to the ATF link that you provided a block came up stating that I could not enter this site with my current security settings. I tried to adjust the settings to compensate but to no avail.
I really don't know why or what this download would do and I would like to know what I'm doing before going any further. Any other info you can give on this topic? Thanks again. |

Re: IE 7 problem opening pages
We can try another TEMP file cleaner:
Please download Cleanup! and install it. *NOTE* Cleanup deletes EVERYTHING out of temporary folders and does not make backups. Open Cleanup! by double-clicking the icon on your desktop (or from the Start > All Programs menu). Set the program up as follows: Click "Options..." Move the arrow down to "Custom CleanUp!" Put a check next to the following (Make sure nothing else is checked!):
Press the CleanUp! button to start the program and Do Not reboot when prompted. |
