Roll Eyes Problem going to link in webpage

There is a webpage I visit in the course of my work, www.doi.sc.gov. I am able to navigate to the home page with no problem. When I click on the link to Search Database it goes to a blank page or a blank page with the single text "protected mode off" and "about protected mode" on the Ie page tab. I went into tools and Internet Options and made sure "protected mode" was turned on. My wife also has a Toshiba computer and when I use her computer and go tho the same link I have no problem. On my bosses laptop I have no problem but when I try to acces the link from my computer it just sits there and spins and never goes anywhere. So that is why I suspect my problem is either with Ie7 or my computer itself...Can anyone help me?..I need to be able to access the information on this site(www.doi.sc.gov...Link to Search Doi Database) for my work.
