Annoying advertisement.
when i visited a site, my pc said that i was attacked by a virus.
later i found out that it was not from my pc but some kind of stupid trick to download a antivirus program. i already have software like that. 1. ever since, my starting page directs automaticly to an advertisement site for anti-spyware. even if i typed down a other site as a starting page or black or offline, is still automaticly directs me to that page. 2. a icons pops out of my toolbar in the bottom right corner were the clock is. 3. every now and then when i'm on the internet it automaticly directs me to a lick where it says "adware or spyware has blocked this site, click here to download our free program" 4. sometimes a new Warning window opens that also says that my pc is attacked by adware or spyware, even when i close it, it still directs me to a advertisement link to download the so called free program. things i have tried is to check my sofware, and check if there is something causing this. there is one software that i want to remove (because i think its causing all this) every time i want to remove it, says "to uninstall this you will have to reboot your pc, do you want to reboot now?" pc reboots and still the software is still there. please help me how to solve this problem. |

(Just click on the coloured links.) Once done, please be patient, as the Security Team Analysts are usually very busy; one of them will answer your request as soon as they can. Good luck ![]() Please also remember DO NOT post your logs in this thread, please start a new thread here. (Just click on the coloured link.) and post the logs. |
