My tools option just flashes up then goes

I have recently lost control of my tools option it flashes up quickly then goes away, i cannot access my internet options to clear temp files and cookies or change my browser which is blank also. I have tried many ways with no success, i have norton security, no spybot or anything like it. Why has this happened please help. Easy explainations please i am a novice.

Hello and welcome to TSF

Right click Here and choose Save as or Save target as, save it to your desktop. Go to your desktop and double click on IEres.bat, when it is finshed a notpad file should appear copy and paste the contents back into this thread.

DO you have spybot installed? are you a adminsitrator?

No i do not have spybot to my knowledge and i cannot find it anywhere and yes i am the administrator

I have tried everything with no success, it will not let me access from any point on the computer, i must have something serioudly wrong, thanks anyway

Try reinstall IE and see if that solves it
