Page Cannot Be Displayed

Hello, I just reloaded XP on my emachine due to a virus I could not remove. Now, IE will not load but only provides a Page Cannot be Displayed notice. I have a router and can connect to the net through a laptop so I know my ISP is not the problem. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Do you mean a fresh install of windows XP?

Do you have norton internet security installed?

Try to open up command prompt, and type as below. Post the results here

ipconfig /all

ping yahoo.com
