resizing web page in new link

Help, have just purchased new computer with vista home premium installed (used to xp pro). Whenever I click on a link from a website the new window only opens half size instead of full size. Is there any way of altering to full size permanently. I am running ie7. Many thanks.

I have just had a look and I cant see a way of doing it.
