Mouse hover will not display details

I use WindowsXp SP2 w/ IE7. I visit several wexsites that displays images. My Mother is running the same thing. On my mom's pc - when you stop on an image with the mouse, a temporary screen pops up displaying details about the image. This does not happen for me. I have to click the image then a new window comes up diplaying the details. A site this is specific to is www.bidz.com.

Can anyone help get this feature to work?

That's all done with JavaScript. Do you have that disabled somewhere in the internet explorer options?
