Is there a way to set a default resolution for viewing pages on the Internet?

Re: setting default resolution
not sure of what you are asking but the resolution you get is based on your screen resolution, the coding of the webpage and your browsers settings. What browser are you using? Are you wanting to change the default text size, page size or what?

Re: setting default resolution
Actually my problem is this: My old monitor was a 19" and my new one is a 20" widescreen. Not all sites are set up to look okay on widescreen monitors, so I was hoping that there was some way to set my internet viewing, by default, to that of my old 19". I still want use of the widescreen for my desktop applications.

Re: setting default resolution
do not open your browser windowto the max. by dragging the edges, you can set the window to the size you want. It should return to that size every time you open your browser window.
