Can no longer upload photos via Firefox OR IE

I prefer to use Firefox. But it will no longer open the window to upload photos to ANY internet site. Neither is it giving me any repport or feedback.

Reluctantly I turned to IE, despite it previously being the portal to viruses which destroyed 2 PCs. This time, when I click upload on any site it reports:
Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage
Most likely causes:
You are not connected to the Internet. connection is good!
The website is encountering problems. not for any other user!
There might be a typing error in the address. I am operating from within the sites I have already accessed!
What you can try:
Check your Internet connection. Try visiting another website to make sure you are connected. connection is good!
Retype the address. irrelevant!
Go back to the previous page. it just times out!

If this is an HTTPS (secure) address, click tools, click Internet Options, click Advanced, and check to be sure the SSL and TLS protocols are enabled under the security section. they sure are!

My OS is Windows XP Media Center Edition Version 2002; Service Pack 2. Intel ® Core™2 CPU 6300 @ 1.86GHz; 1.00GB of RAM.
I am running Norton 360, Ad-Aware, SpyBot and SpywareBlaster. But I very temporarily disabled all of them plus Windows Firewall and still could not upload.. So it is not a Firewall issue.

So what is it please? Why can't I upload photos?

any new software installs since the last time it worked? Try deleting the files in your windows temporary folder and temporary internet folder (msie) or cache (firefox).

Not sure if I can input on some information but I worked for tech support as well..

But as far as the issue ur recieving.. If you have XP, a typical repair function can basically verify all the stuff it said as far as you are not connecting. Clearing the cache and cookies could fix it.. Depending on what the situation is, when you try in Firefox, do you recieve the same issue?

I always clear temp files every time I close down. I run CCleaner as well, though this is probably duplicating. There are no new programs at all. I just ran a SDFix. Still the problem remains. Anyone interested in the HJT report I ran immediately afterwards?
