Some web pages show as code
Hi
I have an annoying problem. Some web pages, instead of being displayed properly, show as code ie I see the underlying html etc. Also some PARTS of pages shows as code, the rest being ok. To give an example, I'll click on a link to Java Sun (http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/download.html). It loads fine, then a link from that page, the next stage in the download process (http://javashoplm.sun.com/ECom/docs/...actionId=noreg) displays only the source code. This happens quite frequently. Another eg. On this very page I get the following piece of code dispalyed among the properly rendered stuff. <IFRAME SRC="http://ad.doubleclick.net/adi/N2790.HypeCouncil/B1447333.8;sz=468x60;click=http://www.hypemakers.net/nfsu2/go.php?v=a&adv=920&redir=;ord=[timestamp]?" WIDTH=468 HEIGHT=60 MARGINWIDTH=0 MARGINHEIGHT=0 HSPACE=0 VSPACE=0 FRAMEBORDER=0 SCROLLING=no BORDERCOLOR='#000000'> <SCRIPT language='JavaScript1.1' SRC="http://ad.doubleclick.net/adj/N2790.HypeCouncil/B1447333.8;abr=!ie;sz=468x60;click=http://www.hypemakers.net/nfsu2/go.php?v=a&adv=920&redir=;ord=[timestamp]?"> </SCRIPT> <NOSCRIPT> I'm not aware of switching off Iframe settings. Indeed some Iframe pages render ok, and many pages that show their underwear haven't got Iframes embedded. It's probably something dumb, but I can't for the life of me track it down. My browser is Internet Explorer 6, with SP1 & Q867801 updates. I'm using WinXP with SP1, and some SP2 updates. I run AntiVirGuard, Spybot S&D resident & Popup Cop. Any suggestions? Please download HijackThis. Create a folder at C:\HJT and move HijackThis.exe there. Run a scan and save the log file. Post the whole log file here. Do not fix anything since most of them listed there are harmless (some are system required). This program will help us determine if there is any spyware/malware on your computer.
