Moms IE7 Vista Woes
Hi Guys,
My mother does work for her employer at homes sometimes. She recently purchased a new comp, with Vista and IE7 installed. The website she logs into to do her work is continually opening new windows, asking for data which she has to input, and then the pop-ups close after receiving the input. This new browser (the request pop-up has an Internet Explorer name on it so I'm guessing it's generated by explorer and not Vista) pops-up a window everytime the website tries to close a popup window. The pop up says something like "This website has tried to close a browser window. Do you want to allow it to do so?" to which She must then click O.K.. This wouldn't be bad once or twice, but when She's working 4-5 hours at a time, it really gets annoying. Particularly because her other comp (which is now dead) never did this sort of thing. So, my question is, how can I get the browser to shut up and not ask permission like this? I tried setting the security settings to allow her work website whatever access it needed, but this didn't seem to work. Thanks for any help. Art |
