This happens for example if I go to Google and click the link to Calendar. Any help would be appreciated.

Try using System Restore to restore BEFORE the update happened to fix it.

I did make an Acronis image of my drive before installing the updates, so that's not a problem, I just wondered if anyone else has the same problem and has fixed it, the problem is definetly due to the Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 for Windows XP (KB942615) delivered on 11-12-07.

Check http://www.support.microsoft.com, they have a great database of errors, just look it up and I'm sure you will find it. I doubt your the first to get the error

Just wait until Go The Power comes, I am sure he will be able to help with this, as he is like the moderation of this sub-forum

Try this click Start => Control Panel => Add/Remove programs, click on the button Show updates, find the update with the no KB924615 click uninstall

Thanks for the reply's guy's but that update has some security flaw fixes in it that are needed, I just hoped that someone could solve the particular problem with crashing IE6.

That is why it is crashing. From that update

I reccomend that you update to IE7 as it is alot safer browser.
