Internet Explorer crashes

hey guys

i seriously need someone to help me out big time. wenever i open up internet explorer to surf the net i get an error msg. it says:

"Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

AppName: iexplore.exe
AppVer: 6.0.2800.1106
ModName: msvcrt.dll
ModVer: 7.0.2600.1106
Offset: 000336d0



can someone plz help me as i need to do my assignment for school tomorrow. :(

also i tried to unchek the box from the internet options under the advanced tab where it said "enable third party extentions"

it didnt solve the problem :( pls help someone

Open an ms-dos prompt window (Start>Run>) and type the following (one entry
at a time), and press enter after each line. A message will appear stating
that these have been registered successfully.

regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll (this command only for Win2000 and XP)
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Urlmon.dll

Control Panel lost

Hi GEEKGURL thanks so much for ur help that problem seems to hav stopped for now neway but thanks a lot umm im also havin another prob it jus arose. IM the administrator of my computer n i share it wit two other people but i cnt access the control panel or add or remove ne programs or nefink like that i cud do it untill i did a system restore last time ever since that i cnt do it i even cnt see the control panel link from the START menu. would u plz tell me how i can get access to the control panel again and be the admin for my computer?

Most times this is caused by malware, Look over the First Steps at Removing Malware

i tried geekgirl but the prob is i cnt find control panel to access addor remove programs
i go to start n look for control panel i cnt find it its not there

Hi!
Use these steps for control panel issue:

Open www.gur.in
click on registry tweeks in left part of the window.
Then in the right part of the window the very first option is to re store Control panel.
Click it ...save and run
