[SOLVED] Problem with cookies

My system is on IE7 and I've been having a problem with cookies not being allowed even though the system is set to accept all cookies. I have reloaded IE7 but this has made no difference.

Re: Problem with cookies

I am running AVG 7.5 free version, avast free version and spyware doctor. I briefly had window washer on but removed after the trial period. I have been running the first three programmes for over a year and have never had a problem before. I don't know if it may have something to do with window washer as the problem seem to start about the time I removed it from my system, don't know whether this is a coincidence or not. Any help you can offer will be apprciated.

Re: Problem with cookies

It isn't recommended to have have more than one AV installed on a system at the same time as they Will conflict with each other and can cause system instability. Please unisntall one.

Do you have a firewall?

Re: Problem with cookies

I know have only Avast free installed and spyware doctor, I have got a firewall installed, but this has never been an issue before I undeleted the window washer. So I can only assume that some files were deleted in the process.

Re: Problem with cookies

I have downloaded Firefox and everfything so far seems fine and has sorted the problem out. It will take a little getting use to as I'm so use to IE7. Thanks for your help.
