Router trouble
As you can see right now, my internet works fine(or else I couldn't post this cry for help)
But, (I have a linksys BEFSR41 router) when I follow the instructions on this linksys site for the comcast connection help, nothing happens. Is there anything missing from that guide. http://linksys.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/...bWNhc3Q*&p_li=Thanks for any future help. |

Well, apperently, it isn't.
Any network connections need to be fixed or something? Ahh, I know the router works, because my friend tried it out, and it worked. But he DHCP(?) Renewed it, and worked. But when I click it, nothing happens(on the router i.p.) |

Boy, you know you aren't awake yet when you try and right click and look at the properties on the network connection in the jpeg that you posted.
What you might want to do first is disable the 1394 network connection. This is for connecting 2 computers via firewire. I am assuming you are just using the ethernet connection. Check the proerties of the "Local Area Connection" and look at the properties of the TCP/IP and be sure it is set for DHCP enable. |
