[SOLVED] Setanta Broadband

I subscribed to Setanta Broadband about a month ago, and managed to watch it with no fuss.

However, on Saturday I opened it up to watch live coverage of Northwich VS Exeter, and I got a blank viewing box, and when I pressed the play button it said "Playlist open-No media"

A similar thing is happening on Virgin Media when I can't view anything.

I have changed no settings on my computer, or my media player, windows media player is up to date so I have no idea why this has happened.

Can anyone help?

Re: Setanta Broadband

Its as though every internet explorer video now won't play. They're just unresponsive. Things like BBC player videos all don't work

Re: Setanta Broadband

Shockwave and flash both updated. When I try viewing stuff on Firefox/Opera I get a video box like the one in Windows media player, but when I press play it is just unresponsive.

This is really frustrating as I've paid £7.99 a month for a service that has stopped working for no apparent reason!

Re: Setanta Broadband

It could be a problem with WMP, uninstall it, restart your computer then install it again.

Re: Setanta Broadband

Can't uninstall it. Most I can do is get it back to an old version WMP 8 or whatever. Won't let me get rid of it completely.

Re: Setanta Broadband

problem seems to have sorted itself out. Think a firewall may have had something to do with it.

Thanks for the help!
