IE7: Flash not installing

When I go to the download page and click 'download' IE just reloads the same page. Is there an executable file that I can download rom somewhere else or do I have to fix whatever's happening in IE first??

What browser are you trying to download it in?

Do you have any pop up blockers?

I'm using IE7 - I've turned all pop-up blockers off bu still no luck.

Managed to install it in Firefox but want it on IE too because my family and I use that as well as Firefox

When you install flash in IE, you don't download the installer package it usually does it though the browser.

yeah that's the page that keeps reloading when i press the download link... nothing else happens!!

Try these steps:

To change your security level:

Open Internet Explorer.
Choose Tools => Internet Options.
Select the Security tab.
Choose Internet.
Click Custom Level.
Ensure that the Download Signed ActiveX Controls option is set to Prompt.
Ensure that the Run ActiveX Controls And Plug-ins option is set to Prompt.

If that fails try this:
