IE 7 security warning
Hello
I am new to forums so please be patient with me. My issue is with IE 7. Quite often when I try to go to a web site I get a 'Security Warning'. You are about to view pages over a secure connection. Blah Blah Blah At the bottom is a check box for 'In the future do not show this warning'. See attached graphic. No matter how many times I check the box it always comes back when I am changing from secure to unsecure and/or back. I have tried to eliminate the warning using Tools, Internet Optoions, Advanced, Security The check box to do this is next to the last in the advanced list. Why is this happening and how can I make it stop? Thank you for any help you can provide. TJ |

Re: IE 7 security warning
Hello again,
lets try this: **Back up your registry before editing** (Click the green link) Click Start => Run, type in regedit. Click on:
On the menu bar click Edit => New => DWORD value. Rename it to WarnOnHTTPSToHTTPRedirect. Right click on WarnOnHTTPSToHTTPRedirect and click Modify, change the value to 0 and press Ok. |

Re: IE 7 security warning
Thank you for the help. Unfortunately it didn't help me. I tried all of the registry tweaks to no avail. I didn't contact Microsoft support because I refuse to pay for support for a problem that isn't my doing.
I have been through the gauntlet with MS support before. I believe that my solution will be Mozilla Firefox. TJ |

Re: IE 7 security warning
I think Firefox is better than IE.
you could try a reinstallation: Re-install Internet Explore 7

Re: IE 7 security warning
Isn't this simply corrected but going to TOOLS - INTERENT OPTIONS - SECCURITY - CUSTOM LEVEL then scroll down until you see MISCELLANEOUS - ALLOW MIXED CONTENT and click on enable, then save and exit.
