IE locks up

After updating I-Tunes, my Internet Explorer locks up when I open it, and then takes up to 30 minutes to finally render my home page. After that, everything in IE seems to work normally. I can use other programs while waiting for IE to get to my home page. I can also access the Internet using Firefox with no delays. I have Verizon FIOS for my connectivity, and it works fine connected to another computer - the problem is with IE.

I will try a system restore back to when all was well, but would like to hear from you regarding this.

Try uninstalling Itunes and see if IE works fine.
