start batch in explorer without security alert

how can i run a batch file via a link in internet explorer without the security alert (which forces the users to choose 'save' or ' open' the file)?

I want to start an access application via the browser. This application contains a startup switchboard, and this causes multiple instances when I link directly to the access file. When i link to a batch file that start the access file, i bypass the problem.

I dont think that this is possible in IE, I know it can be down in Firefox but not IE
