I've just this year gone from Win98se over to XP Pro.
I work with a lot of HTM files, which I find XP Pro handles differently now than how Win98se did. ![]() This is a very ANNOYING feature thing'o, am getting near end of my tether. IF I try to delete or copy either the HTM file, or the xxx_files folder, BOTH get deleted or copied together. This may be fine under certain conditions , but for my use this is an absolute pain and much hair loss. With Win98se I could just delete, or copy the HTM and it would NOT delete or copy the xxx_files folder as well. This was perfect setup with Win98se. Can someone PLEASE tell me HOW I can copy, or delete a HTM file, or vice versa, without both the HTM and xxx_files getting trashed or copied together. If solved you be a life saver. Regards, John. |
