Pop ups

Hi guys
hope you are all well,

I'm having problems with certain pop ups especially when I log on to IE 7.

I have run spybot and it says it has got rid of certain sites, but if I run it again it's still there, My pop up blocker is on, but the settings in the privacy menu keeps jumping back to the lowest setting. Also I have blocked the sites but to no avail. I have run anti virus, spybot, ccleaner, and removed programs I dont need.

Any help will be appreciated.

Many thanks
Tony

Re: Pop ups

Hi Crazy,

the pop ups are from bigger companies for example gambleing companies 888.com and credit compaines then the dating and mobile companies start.

Its really annoying, and now anti spyware companies lol

Re: Pop ups

Microsoft I think also running skybot as the forum suggets but one in paticular wont go away it's called Smitfraud-C. Toolbar 888 which I think is the gambleing company, and the others maybe connected.

Re: Pop ups

I think IE7 isnt very good with pop-blocker..

Try using FireFox or download (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/)

Hopes FireFox helps to reduce the pop-up
