Really need help with this. Annoying problem.

When my PC connects to our wireless network, i receive a working internet connection. But neither internet explorer or firefox will load up. However msn will work fine that's how i know the connection is working. I have ran 3 spyware programs and AVG but still neither browser will work. Any help would be appreciated.

Hello

Check the 'host' file go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

The right hand click on the file 'host' and click 'open' or 'open with' a box should appear, asking you what program you would like to open the host file with. Choose 'notepad'

It should look like the one below:
