Internet Explorer and Mozilla not working, AOL is fine thou??

Hi just wondered if anyone could help with this very annoying problem of mine.
My AOL browser is working fine, letting me browse the internet freely without any problems. However, when I start Internet explorer or Mozilla the page refuses to load. It looks like the browser is trying to load the page but just dosent work at all.

I'am running a Sony Vaio vgn-c1s laptop with Windows XP Media Center Edition 2005.

Any help would be great!

Hi paulmc1888, welcome to TSF...

do you have a firewall installed on your system? If yes, try temporarily disabling it to see if that enables webpages to load in IE and FF.
