clicking a link opens a download window instead of displaying the page

Hi,

i'm encountering a starnge problem.
it occurs for specific files extentions (aspx, xhtml..) but not for html extention.

when i'm clicking a simple link that should redirect me to a web page , it opens a download window .( same link in firefox diaplays the page )

i tried also changing the file type (my computer->tools->folder options) but nothing has helped.

(it happens a week ago, i think it started after registry changes but i'm not sure)

it happens also for ie6 and ie7 (i reverse to ie6 and then installed gain ie7, i tried also to fix xp installation and same stil happens )

what do u think ?
