Alt+Shift doesn't work in IE7
Hello everybody,
This is the first time I post a thread here so I just want to greet you all and hope to get some fast answers... Anyway, let's get to business: I'm from Israel so I use English and Hebrew on my PC. I always use Alt+Shift to change between those two languages when I write. Ever since I've installed IE7, Alt+Shift doesn't work anymore in the different browser pages. It still works in the address bar (though it's useless) and it does work in the search bar next to it (which is usually how I search for stuff in Hebrew on Google - I click the search bar next to the address bar, press Alt+Shift and go on writing in Hebrew). The solution I found for writing in hebrew in the webpages is to click on my language bar that's on the taskbar and changing to hebrew there. That seems to work fine but it's really annoying and I was hoping to fix that Alt+Shift problem. I've already tried reinstalling IE7 with no luck. My second PC works fine with IE7. It doesn't have this problem. I'm guessing this issue is not usually experienced by American users, but I hope readers from other parts of the world are reading this as well. Please Help Me!!! |

Re: Alt+Shift doesn't work in IE7
Wow, it's been over a year since I wrote that thread...
I bought a new PC since then and installed vista 64 bit and didn't experience that problem since... I'm pretty sure my problem was fixed on my old PC as well....it may have been an issue fixed by Internet Explorer/Windows XP updates. Sorry I couldn't be more help. |
