Mistake Can not get that website anymore!

Hi,
I have a problem with internet explorer or maybe with my computer.
Everything works fine except one thing. For more than 3 weeks I can not open one website anymore (Pirate Bay).I have thought that there is a problem with the website but 2 friends of mine have no problem get that website and I have tried to use 2 different computers and I have got no problems opening that website. With my computer I always got a message:
504 gateway time out!I have tried to reset Internet explorer, checked restricted sites in my internet explorer and nothing helped.
Can anybody tell me what is wrong?

Have you tried temporarily disabling your firewall?

Also, try pinging the site?

504 errors are not usually 'your' fault so if problems persist, try contacting the sites support. You could also try updating your link or loading from a search engine??

How about pinging the site or even using a different browser?

I clicked start ...run...command...pingwww.piratebay.com and it said:pingpiratebay is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.
What does it mean?

It means you have to leave a space between ping and www....

ping www.piratebay.com

However, I'm not sure that's the right address....try searching for piratebay via Google as the first page in suggests is a .org address..maybe that's where you're going wrong in the first place??

Anyway..as the site in question deals with torrent files of a questionable nature, we're unable to help further on the matter so if the problem persists, I can only advise to seek help from the website admin themselves.

Closing thread.
