wanmpsvc.exe problem
Yesterday, while cleaning malware files out of c:\windows, I accidentally deleted wanmpsvc.exe. I didn't think much of it, because on previous sweeps, I had seen that that isn't a windows file.
Later, my computer was acting up, so I rebooted, and my internet connection no longer worked. I spent about an hour trying to figure out why, and then remembered that I had deleted that file yesterday. I went on a different computer on the network to go online, and searched for it, and found that if you delete that file and log back in AOL reports a problem with internet connection, which screws all connections up, and reinstalling AOL doesn't help the problem. I used norton to recover the file, and restarted, and it still didn't work. What can I do to get internet working again? |
