Problem with IE redirecting to Firefox
I have worked out that the problem is to do with running IE 6 & 7 side by side. I tried to install IE7 a while back but had problems. However, I thought that I completely uninstalled IE 7.
I read a blog which said to delete the following key, [-HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\{C90250F3-4D7D-4991-9B69-A5C5BC1C2AE6}] Once I open up IE6, it will allow me to open however many URL's I want in that IE window until I close the window. Once I try to use IE6 again, it adds the key back into the registry again. I guess this is because parts of IE7 are in the registry or something still? Can anyone help because its really annoying me. I can't do certain things because of it! |
