web sites open in title bar only (RESOLVED)

We have a computer in our school that's causing lots of frustration. When the kids click on a link to open a site (this is true for all links) the site only opens as the blue titlebar at the top of the screen. You have to maximize to see the site at all. This computer is running WinXP and IE 6.0. Any suggestions? (There are some 3rd graders who will be forever grateful if you can help!) Thanks!

Lets try this:

Open IE, right click any URL and select Open in a New Window.
Go back to the first IE window you opened and close it.
Return to the second window and manually drag it to fill the screen.
(Do not use the maximize button)
Close this second window, using the close box.
All IE windows should now open fully.

At this point close down IE and restart the computer (to make sure the
entries are saved to the registry)

Resolved. Installing all windows updates seems to have resolved this.
