Roll Eyes IE 7 rocks and sucks

First of all, I will almost never go back to Mozilla browser again thanks to IE 7 with tab. The way IE 7 implement their tabs are much better than Mozilla especially when I can re-arrange the order of the tabs and many other features. Now what I really don't like and hope to find out the answers in here are, how do I add search engine providers and password management? I understand that I can click on the drop down next to the magnifying icon but when I click any of the search engine providers nothing happens. This procedure works on many other PCs I have but for some reason it has never worked on this particular PC. Any solution to solve this problem is grateful.

The second thing that I miss Mozilla is the password management. Is there such a password management in IE 7? If so, how do I get access to it? I want to keep all my passwords to sites that I visisted but mantain a master password for all of those passwords similar to Mozilla.

I hope someone can help me resolve these two issues in IE 7.

You can rearrange tabs in Firefox 2.0.

I used Mozilla and not firefox. Occasionaly I would use firefox...and I think firefox is better than Mozilla but I never tried the tabs re-arrangement. Maybe I will try that next time.

But I really like to get IE 7 a chance before I jump back to Firefox or Mozilla.

Thanks for the response.

First, you can re-arrange your tabs in Firefox.

Second, to add a search provider, check if you have javascript enabled in IE. I know how to manually add a provider, but it is a little bit complated and requires modify registry. It also takes time to write an instruction on that. So check javascript setting first.

Last, about your password management. it's convenient, but I always think again after reading these two links http://arstechnica.com/journals/micr...006/11/22/6067 and http://secunia.com/advisories/23046
