need your help with my internet explorer, if i try to login into a website with my login and password i get the following : Your browser's cookie functionality is turned off. Please turn it on

i tried to solve this in tools, internet options, accessibility, or in privacy, advance and put cookies accept, but nothing helped.

i think i need to reinstall or repair my internet explorer, but how can i do this in a secure way.

i have internet explorer 6, also when i go into sertain websites i have to click on active xcontrol, but then my browser just close.

Do u have firewalls like, Zonealarm and Symantec Internet Security? If you do, check their settings.
