Need help with Internet Explorer

My daughter was looking at a site that had a music video. After viewing the video, the computer locked up. Every since then, we haven't been able to open Internet Explorer. When it tries to open, you hear a 2 second clip of the song that had been playing. I have ran virus scans, and about every other type of scan I can think of. I am sure that the site she was on had a virus on it or spyware or something. I tried downloading IE 7. It won't open either. Please help if you can. I know just enough about computers to be completely clueless!

You've got adware and spyware. Try Adware and spysweeper together http://www.lavasoftusa.com/products/...e_personal.php, and http://www.webroot.com/consumer/products/spysweeper/
They can get rid of about 95% of adware and spyware. If they don't work, you may have to reinstall OS.
