Internet Explorer Issue
Hi, I have recently installed XP Pro into this computer and i also have Windows XP Home. (XP home is in the windows directory and XP pro is in windows2) I can chose which one i want to start. It seems pointless but i will format the drive and install Pro soon anyways.
Recently, when i use XP home (Which is what i had to begin with) i cant load any pages on IE. I have IE 7 and i get this message when i attempt to go to any site. The message says "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the folder options control panel" How exactly can i fix this? I have gone to the folder options in the control panel. but im not sure what to do now. |

Thanks for that, but unfortunately i couldnt find any that would work.
Weird thing now is, when i type an URL on IE and hit enter, instead of getting that message i now get Firefox either Opening another tab and loading that page ( if i have FF open) or Firefox browser opens and loads that page. Weird, and i really dont mind, but there are times when i truly have to use IE for things and i would really like to fix this issue. Please help. Thanks |
