IE 7 Tab Confusion
Hi,
After finding out in another thread, that IE 7 would be compatible with my AOL 9.0 optimized SE....I now use free with cable broadband....I finally downloaded it. I C some changes: new KB, language thingy on W taskbar, had to permit changes in utilities and put put things on ignore list after HJT scan, etc., but (get ready) I do not C any TABS. I briefly tested the new AOL Open Ride...which is infested with tabs, hated if for many reasons....but expected good tabs in IE 7...supposed 2 B famous for these....and I have none. Oddly...my system seems 2 run faster after this MS download/installation though I did eat some mushrooms, so it's a hard call ....but forgive this inane, when I open the browser window I even C the tabs referred to, but I remain TABLESS! Visually/graphically things seem remarkably similar to IE6....where R the infamous TABS?????Thank U, Jill Last edited by Ariesjill; 11-18-2006 at 04:20 AM. |

Hi,
I DO LIKE IT---and new E icon to die 4----.and yes, U R salt of earth, ifm thankfully, screen name is not neo SNL Also, I sweah.....this system....fast anyhow....if not fast enufff 4 me.....runs faster with IE7. All MS browsers huge, right? Compared to lean mean ones.....so how can this B? Was 6 more bloated than 7 is???? I dunno.....exhausted right now....gotta turn the Seagate in my head off. J. PS....I did get that since this is old software.....AOL 9.0 optimized SE....from before even IE7 beta, I think....that below must B obsolete.....but it still worried me, OK....that it says 6. So I needed a site member who had been there...to tell me nothing blew up in AOL if you moved to 7. Last edited by Ariesjill; 11-18-2006 at 10:32 PM. |
