Long Delay in opening embedded links
Hi All,
I've just recently started having a problem when in Internet explorer or Outlook Express. When I click on an embedded link the page freezes and after maybe 30secs+ the link opens and all is normal. Occasionally, especially with Outlook express, no link opens and everything is back to normal as if I hadn't clicked the link. If I reboot it will work normally for awhile and then start to act this way again. Any ideas? Thank you. Paul BTW I've run ANTIvirus and Spyware checks and found nothing. Well I guess no one had any ideas. I finally resorted to reinstalling IE 6 and
for the time being the problem has been resolved. One thing that I realized is that I had tried to use IE 7 a while ago and depended on the Microsoft's statement that IE 7 could be uninstalled and would leave IE 6 intack. I think some remnant of IE 7 is left behind or the restore is not complete. I know IE 7is a Beta and I should expect issues. I certainly will not load any beta's on my primary computer again. Paul |
