Strange mouse & internet problem

Hi Guys, I'm having this strange problem when im connected to the internet.

1. Very often a page will refuse to connect untill after 20 or so tries it finaly connects and loads.

2. Mouse clicks are periodicaly not caught in IE, Firefox and windows! (frantic clicking follows)

3. These issues only occur when the internet is connected (USB or LAN)

It takes almost 1 minute for the network connection to be initialised when windows starts up, I'm sure this is not normal. Any thoughts?

How are you connected?

Using a firewall/router?
