explorer problem shuting down while in game

I have an old warhorse Hewlett Packard / windows 95/98 I had Memory upgraded to to 256 from a 100 This is as far as I can go on it.. it has a 10.2gb ultra DMA harddrive ,100 mgz sd ram & 48x rom .. runing on comcast cabel network (sad I know )

ok here is the problem I down loaded yahoo Messenger ,Already had as main page and toolbar so no problem , Now went into yahoo games.com every time I get in the middle of a game like liberati I get IEXPLORER has received a problem and has to shut down and if I click ignore it shuts down anyway ???
Is this to much for my system to handle ? , or should i get rid of yahoo messenger ?? Thank you for your time in reading this HELP Please ...

I went in and removed every thing with yahoo ,than reinstated yahoo messenger without the tool bar works great now thanks ,no more error messeges ... goldenyrs
