IEXPLORE error trying to read PDF files from browser

I am using Windows XP Home operating system and have Adobe Reader 7.08.0
When I attempt to retrieve a PDF file I get an error in the ieexplore.exe file (APPVer 6.0.2900.2180 which shows mod name: acropdf.dll modver 7.08.0 offset 0002fdb3) I am not sure but don't think I had any problem reading PDF files from the browser until I updated to the 7.08.0 version of Adobe Reader. Within Adobe Reader I checked that the Internet Preference was set to display PDF files in Browser. The error knocks me off the browser after I answer if I want to send the error report to MSN. Any suggestions as to what is causing this error in Internet Explorer and what I need to do to fix it???
