Internet - Printer problems

Since I installed the printer Ive not been
able to get on the internet. It comes up with some thing like "Contents
advisor doesnt allow access, please type in password". I aint touched no
security settings.
Rang Microsoft, they told me to call back before 6pm, when im at home. Not
home b4 6.30. Wannadoo say its a technical problem with my settings.

Any idea ?

Go into IE tools/internet options and select "reset web settings" on the programs tab.
It might just help ;)

Content Advisor is a feature of Internet Explorer to prevent access to certain sites. It, strange as it may be, has nothing to do with your printer.

Before we can turn off Content Advisor we need its supervisor password. If you do not know the password for Content Advisor you can remove it, but it will require you to access the Registry (disclaimer: damaging your registry by inappropriately changing settings can make your computer inaccessible, so always back up your registry before doing any changes via File -> Export...). If you do know the supervisor password, skip to Step 6:

1) Access the Registry Editor by going Start -> Run... -> regedit .

2) Expand the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE tab by pressing the little + button.

3) Go down the following areas - Software -> Microsoft -> Windows -> Current Version -> Policies -> Ratings

4) Select the entry listed called "Key" and delete it. This will delete the Content Advisor password.

5) Exit the Registry Editor and Reboot your computer.

6) Once logged in, run Internet Explorer. To turn off Content Advisor in IE go to Tools -> Internet Options... -> Content tab -> Content Advisor, press Disable. When asked for a password, leave it blank and press OK. Content Advisor is now turned off.
