Google Adverts!?

Today I noticed, on the TSF site, that the back button wasn't working properly so I clicked the down arrow to look at the history and there was a page titled http: //pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pa there, sometimes multiple times. Then I noticed that each time I pressed back the colour around the google ads at the top of the screen change, as does the text colour. Does anybody know what's causing this?

What browser are you using? Does this happen on any other sites?

Every TSF page has two small areas, on top and at the bottom, containing Google Ads. These areas contain the following source:

Code:

<script type="text/javascript"
  src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js">
</script>

So, this javascript will load every time, regardless if you'll press on an ad or not.
Now, what you're experiencing is kinda weird, so visit another webpage showing Google Ads, to see if it'll happen there also.
I would also suggest as a precaution a five-step-process-on-the-fly execution.

Don't worry people, this seems to have stopped now. Didn't happen on other sites either.

Never mind, I'll post if it starts to happen again.

You could always add pagead2.googlesyndication.com to your hosts list :)

You can't go wrong with the MVPS Hosts File as suggested by Zazula...easy to install and customize as you like :)
