How do you force a browser to automatically open in a MAXIMIZED state?

I am looking for the javascript that will enable me to FORCE ALL BROWSERS (ME, XP, 2000..etc) TO AUTOMATICALLY OPEN UP IN A MAXIMIZED STATE (without the user having to manually press maximize)

Any help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

Hi...

The attached reg file will do exactly what you want but no 100% sure it'll work with all OS's as I made and tested it on XP.

Hi, and welcome to TSF!
On internet explorer (the shortcut), right click on it and select properties. In the shortcut tab, there will be a scroll menu labeled Run:. select Maximized instead of normal window and that should work. I have tried it and it works for me.
