Hello this is my first submission. Well here goes from the New Forest England
I am running Windows XP and I have a Brother MFC215c all in one Printer/scanner/fax. This set up also has a TranslationFacility SYSTRAN WEB Translator 5.0
This uses Internet Explorer some way or other. My problem is when I open the translation software I get a Malicious Script Warning A maliciopus script is trying to write to internet Explorer action required.which gives me three opitions (1)(Recomended) Stop Script. which closes the program
(2) Allow the script to run once
(3) Allow the script to run
I contacted Brother and they told me to click Let the Script Run But I am still not sure I do not want to do somthing wrong,Can any body advise

By the sounds of it, you have Norton???

Seeing as the script is running when you request it to, from a known program you have installed, i'd let it run or you won't be able to use that part of the program.

It's just Norton being over-protective.

Yes, whenever I run the microsoft shared computer toolkit, McAfee pops up saying that a suspicious script had been detected. I just let it run. There might be an option in norton that allows you to add that script to a list of "friendly scripts" or something like that. If there is, that should stop it from poping up.
