- As chief reliability engineer I worked on military and commercial aircraft systems, but main focus was NASA work on Apollo & Space Shuttle programs. I was a Launch Team member for several Apollo flights and on the rescue team for Apollo 13. On shuttle program, I designed guidance systems primarily for placing geosynchronous satellites into orbit, but also did a few for interplanetary missions (eg. Galileo, Ulysses & Magellan probes).
