- Well, my name is Matthew Despain. Yes, Despain does mean 'from Spain'. I'm still not entirely sure how it came about. Anyway, I grew up in a small town in central Utah called Centerfield. It's about 80 or so miles south of Provo. I served an LDS mission to West Virginia and I am currently attending Dixie State College in St. George, UT. I am majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Information Technology.
