- Retired at 50 and going back to school. Taking an IT class at local community college and CISCO online Networking Academy. Computers have been a hobby and general pastime for several years. Most of what I know is self-taught through personal research and hands-on experience. Friends and family think I know a lot about computers, but I don't feel like I know more than a thimble full of knowledge in an ocean of information. Education is much more pleasant and rewarding with a hunger to learn - not because you have to, but because you want to.
