Leaves are falling

Well it is fall in the northern half of the world, meaning that leaves are falling.

Since I want to be a good neighbor, I like to keep my leaves cleaned up, as I don't want my neighbors to have to clean them up.

I have tried just using the mower with a bag attachment but that does not reduced the volume all that much.

About 4-5 years ago I picked up one of these used, at a yard sale and it works great, on fallen leaves, I think I paid $10.00 for it (stand missing)

I was able to get 4-5 bags of leaves into one bag with ease. They are kind of like a regular string trimmer, the kind that uses the nylon line, in a funnel.

I cheat and just mulch them up when I cut the grass.

That would make great compost!! Throw on some green stuff and/or Blood Meal and it is black gold by the spring

I heap all my leaves & trimmings in a pile and mow them up. That cuts 'em up small ane then the lot goes into a composting bin for recycling (one day!)

Use a mulching lawn mower and hope for a good wind.
