Re: HELP, need NEW Tractor

Just an opinion here, is all.

To me there is big difference a " riding lawnmower", like the Sears, and a garden tractor.

If your Dad is going just cut grass, this one should be fine. Plowing will probably out the question. You will find some, about this size, if you are talking about plowing snow, that may have a snow blade available.

Maybe pay to have the old tractor fixed. Old tractors can last forever.

Re: HELP, need NEW Tractor

dad has a 46"? Deck
he said he needs a 60" I'm looking at getting him that 54"
I don't think i can get him a 58" or 60"(the one he says he needs.. I don't think he needs, I think a 54" will be fine.

Re: HELP, need NEW Tractor

I am not sure if there is a question here or not.

Buy what you can afford to buy. A 60in cut means less time on it than a 46 or 54 in.

My 25 year old Craftsman 42 in/18HP is every day of 20 years old. Been a great mower, for me.
